Our Team

Michal is a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with over 20 years in the nursing profession. She has experience caring for diverse patient populations in both inpatient and outpatient healthcare settings. Michal has had the privilege of working in many areas including critical care, trauma, labor and delivery, post-anesthesia care, pediatrics, women’s health, sexual and reproductive medicine, men’s health, education, and aesthetics.

Throughout her career, Michal has seen the increasing need for quality mental health care and is dedicated to providing exceptional care for her patients. She has a passion for neuroscience, integrative medicine, conventional medicine, and decreasing the stigma related to mental health. Michal delivers patient-centered nonjudgemental care. Her comprehensive approach to optimal wellness includes assessing, evaluating, and managing the whole patient (mind, body, soul, spirit). Michal has been educated and trained to diagnose, treat, and manage psychiatric conditions in patients of all ages.

Dr. Charles M. Janssens is our supervising provider. Dr. Janssens is a board-certified physician and recognized leader in integrated mental health care. He earned his medical degree from Midwestern University and completed his residency in internal medicine at Indiana University.

Throughout his career, Dr. Janssens has held several key leadership roles. He initiated and led the Internal Medicine division at St. Francis Hospital in Greenwood, Indiana, served as Associate Medical Director at Miami Valley South in Centerville, Ohio, and currently serves as Chief Medical Officer at ProMedicus USA. In each role, he has championed the integration of mental health within broader healthcare systems—advancing holistic, patient-centered models of care.

Dr. Janssens is also the founder of Summit7, LLC, a healthcare leadership and collaborative care company focused on expanding access to mental health services nationwide. Under his guidance, Summit7 has brought critical mental health resources to underserved communities across the U.S. through innovative, multidisciplinary care models.

With a strong focus on whole-person care, Dr. Janssens has dedicated his career to supporting patients with complex medical and behavioral health needs. His deep understanding of the connection between physical and mental health, combined with visionary leadership, drives his ongoing commitment to transforming how mental health care is delivered.
